Does email disk space count towards your total account disk space?

Email (@example.com) disk space does count towards your total hosting account disk space, if any emails are stored on the computer versus downloading the emails to your computer.

Any email you have stored on the server (or your account stored on the server) counts as storage on your entire account. Once you download and read your mail, you should ensure that your e-mail client deletes the mail from the server.

Most email client software includes an option in the configuration settings that allows you to leave email on server if you do not wish to store e-mail on the server.
